For the past four years, I have been working in the book industry. Despite, or perhaps because of, my love for working with complex typography and the rich tradition of book design, I have found myself increasingly drawn to digital design.
Whatever type of designer I call myself, whether I am designing analog or digital products, I highly believe in sustainable, smart and engaging design. That way we can create new, green and profitable solutions for the future.
Although every project has different limitations, budgets and users I believe that a creative process need to have room for different perspectives, research and experimentation to be successful.
In my free time, I enjoy working with textiles and creating things by hand, whether through knitting, embroidery, or sewing. I find inspiration and renewed energy in nature and am at my happiest when I can hike and spend a night outdoors in my hammock under the clear sky.
